Top Sports Earners Between 2010 – 2019

Over the last decade, there were some big money makers in the sports world. From a variety of sports and pedigrees, this list makes up some of the best in the business. So, here are the top-5 from last year.

5 – Roger Federer

The only tennis player to make the top earnings list was Roger Federer. Even by playing in few tournaments as he ages, the Swiss Maestro accumulated $640 million over the last decade. Most of his money came in the form of endorsements.

4 – LeBron James

The King tied the bow on $680 million in the 2010s. Not only was his salary hefty, but so were his endorsements. If the man continues to win at a high level, he may continue to get paid for the rest of his life.

3 – Lionel Messi

As one of two soccer players on the list, Messi has continued to perform at a high level. Because of that, he was awarded to the tune of $750 million between 2010 – 2019. You can be he bought some expensive stuff with the payroll coming in.

2 -Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo was the other soccer play that made it into the top-5. Over the last decade, the striker made $800 million. Some people only wish they could make that in a lifetime.

1 – Floyd Mayweather

The top earner over the last decade was the great Floyd Mayweather. The boxing world was nice to the man last year, as he racked up $915 million. He may continue to make money as he ages, but he certainly fights a lot less now.
