What To Do In Boston: Making The Right Trade in 2020-2021

Over the last few years, the general manager has looked like a genius accumulating all of those draft picks. However, no championship has ensued because of that. Here is one way that Celtics could get to championship status again in the 2020-2021 season.

Not since the Robert Parish days have the Boston Celtics had a quality center. So, adding a playing like Clint Capela, from the Atlanta Hawks, would be a big deal. The Hawks would get Capela’s contract off the books and help them to rebuild.

But, to make this trade happen, the Celtics would have to give up defensive stalwart guard Marcus Smart. They may lose some bench depth, but a starting line-up of Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Jayson Tatum, and Capela would be nasty. Additionally, this would give Romeo Langford more opportunities to take Smart’s minutes moving forward.
