Who Will Win The 2020 MLB World Series?

With the MLB season soon upon us, pundits are ready to crown the champion of the 2020 season. Since the season has been shortened to 60 days, due to the pandemic, some surprising teams will move into the mix. Now that the season is a sprint and not a marathon, things are about to get very interesting.

4 – New York Yankees

The Yankees have not found themselves to be winners very much over the last decade. It is hard to believe they have not won since 2009. With a young core and plenty of pitches, the Bronx Boomers may be able to claim their first championship in a while.

3 – Houston Astros

The Astros have been there before, and still have quality pitching that could make its mark on the season. Even though Houston lost pitching ace Gerrit Cole in the offseason, they still have stud Justin Verlander. Hopefully, they are over sign stealing and ready to move forward.

2 – Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers’ bullpen might be the strongest in baseball. By adding Mookie Betts to the equation, the team can certainly hit as well. A banner has the possibility of being raised in Los Angeles for the first time since 1988. They have been so close over the last few years. Is this the year?

1 – Minnesota Twins

The surprise of the list might be the Twins. But, they have the production to win it all. Sure, their pitching may still be in question, but with veteran additions like Kenta Maeda and Rich Hill, things are more solidified. Inserting batting extraordinaire Josh Donaldson will add even more punch to their deadly lineup.
