Best NBA Power Forwards of All-Time

By Shane R

Power Forwards started to get powerful in the 1980s and have never looked back. This list of top players has the stats and accolades to prove their worth. Get ready to be wowed!

4 – Karl Malone

Even though the Utah Jazz forward never won a championship (blasted Michael Jordan), the Mailman was a force to be reckoned with. His career averages were 25 ppg and 10.1 rpg. If his body would have been able to hold up, Malone may have been tops on the all-time scoring list.

3 – Kevin Garnett

The one-time NBA champion was one of the best players to ever come out of high school into the league. Garnett started his career in Minnesota but won in Boston. He holds career averages of 17.8 ppg and 10 rpg.

2 – Dirk Nowitzki

The German-made a name for himself with his flawless outside shooting. Nowitzki won his only championship going head-to-head with LeBron James and the Miami Heat. Over his career, Nowitzki scored 20.7 ppg and 7.5 rpg.

1 – Tim Duncan

The best power forward of all-time might have not had the prettiest of games, but he was a winner. In San Antonio, Tim Duncan won the most championship of any power forward and was called “Mr. Fundamental” because of his effectiveness on the basketball floor. It is crazy to think that he wanted to be a swimmer before basketball.
