After months of matches, the FA Cup semifinals are all set. Chelsea will take on Manchester United, while Manchester City will try to retain the cup by playing Arsenal. City got to the semifinals first after taking on Newcastle. At halftime, City and Newcastle were tied 0-0, but City took over in the 2nd half. With goals from Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne, City went out on top.

Manchester United got to the semifinals by beating Norwich City in extra-time. Harry Maguire scored in stoppage time to place United ahead. With Manchester United taking on Chelsea, this will be a repeat of the 2017/2018 FA Cup Finals, which Chelsea won.

Arsenal got through stoppage time to be the last team into the FA Cup. They defeated Sheffield United in a close contest. The semifinal matches will be played at the great Wembley Stadium on July 18th and 19th. Whoever wins the semifinal matches will play in the finals on August 1st.

Who Will Make The Finals?

With Arsenal barely making it to the final four, they may be primed to play the underdog role, as they look to make it all the way up the mountain top. On the other side, Chelsea has been blowing away the competition. Look for Chelsea to take on Arsenal, with Chelsea prevailing in the very end. It will be a welcome sight to hopefully get through the Premier League season, even with a pandemic going on. This certainly has kept our minds at ease to watch little sports here and there.
