With the NBA regular season having started up, we are looking at some of the top trades that need to happen during 2020-2021. The list below is full of players from all over the league. Let us start with the most polarizing player this season: James Harden.

James Harden to 76ers – Harden wants out of Houston. Trading for Ben Simmons would be the perfect swap. The Rockets would get an All-Star talent that they could build around, and the 76ers would get a player that could help the organization win now.

Kevin Love headed to Miami – The Heat are amazing defensively, but they need more scoring in the Finals. Kevin Love would be the ideal fit. By trading off Meyers Leonard, Kelly Olynyk, and some other assets, the Heat could get back to the Finals sooner rather than later.

Celtics get Aaron Gordon – The Magic are going to be bad this year. Jonathan Isaac is out for the year, and D.J. Augustin was traded to the Bucks. Aaron Gordon may very well see the writing on the wall and may bounce for free agency in 2022. By getting rid of some draft picks and rotational players, the Celtics could get the trade done.

Buddy Hield Grizzlies Bound – Even though Bogdan Bogdanovic did not stay in Sacramento, Buddy Hield still has some competition with the twelfth pick, Tyrese Haliburton. The Grizzlies could use the services of a premier shooter like Hield after they went 23rd last year in the 3-pointer percentage category. Memphis should pull the trigger.
