2. Frank Selvy

Frank Selvy was the number one overall pick in the 1954 NBA Draft, and his first game for the Baltimore Bullets saw him put up 35 points, nine rebounds, and six assists against the Boston Celtics.

3. Maurice Stokes

Maurice Stokes was the Rochester Royals’ second overall pick in 1955, and despite playing just three seasons before a career-ending injury, he was an All-Star in each of his first three seasons. In his first game, he recorded 32 points, 20 rebounds, and eight assists in a loss to the Knicks.

4. John Drew

John Drew played for 11 seasons and became a two-time All-Star with the Atlanta Hawks and Utah Jazz. In his debut game in 1974, Drew scored 32 points and grabbed 14 rebounds but was unable to stop the Chicago Bulls from winning the game.
